Opening[]
- (Scene zooms to a kids room with the door that says 3, the kids opening)
- Kids:Hi come on in, we're going to watch Blue's Clues. Do you wanna to watch with us? It's just about to start.
- (kids sit at the tv seeing Josh playing guitar)
- Josh: (sings) It is your birthday. No that's not right. Maybe this one. (sing) We want to wish you a happy birthday. No that's not it either. Hi. I'm working on a birthday song, but i'm having a little trouble. Will you help me?
- Kids: yes.
- Josh: Oh good. (sings) When it's your birthday and we wanna sing. No I don't think this is gonna work as a birthday song for blue. Oh, blue. Blue's gonna wake up soon and today is her birhtday. We got everything ready. We have hats, streamers, balloons. Everyone is coming over but i don't have a birthday song. You know one.
- Kids: yes.
- Josh: Can I hear it.
- Kids:Yeah, Come on over.
- Josh: Oh You mean um, skidoo.
- Kids: yes.
- Josh: Okay i will. I'm so excited. I'll skidoo right to you. (skidoos out of the tv screen and into the kids room) Hi. I'm so glad you invited me over to help me work on a birthday song but i don't know how much time that i have. Oh, Timley! Hey Timley, how much time do I have before the party.
- Kid: Josh, That clock can't talk.
- Josh: This clock? You should see it. Timley, these are my firends. Now Timely can be a little bit shy.
- (Timely comes to life with eyes and mouth. The kids gasps and laughs.)
- Timely: Oh, hi. (yawns) Josh. Blue's birthday party starts soon. You need to skiddo when my hands are on the twelve. That's twelve o'clock. you don't have much time.
- Josh: Okay I'm ready to sing. La, La, La.
- Kid: come on Josh.
- Josh: Okay, How does it go?
- Kids: Listen to us. (sing) Happy Birthday Blue, Happy Birthday to you.
- Josh: that's it? That's the birthday song.
- Kids: yeah.
- Josh: Okay, how about you sing again and i'll play my guitar.
- Kids: Sure. (sings) Happy Birthday Blue, Happy Birthday to you.
- Josh: Okay I got it. Let me try and tell me what I sing something wrong. (Sing) Happy Birthday yeah.
- Kids: noooo.
- Josh: no? What did i do wrong?
- Kids: It's blue.
- Josh: Oh Blue. Got it. (sing) Happy Birthday Blue, Happy birthday to me.
- Kids: nooo. It's you.
- Josh: Oh you. I see. (sing) Happy Birthday to you. Did i do it right
- Kids: Yes.
- Josh: Okay, let's sing it together. Will you sing it with us? Great.
- Kids and Josh: (sing) Happy Birthday Blue, Happy Birthday to you.
- Josh: We did it. (Timely claps) Yes. Yes! Did you see that? Hey Timley did you see it.
- Timely: Yes but it's almost time.
- Josh: Okay how about one more. Happy birthday Blue.
- Timely: Josh, Josh. It's only time for Blue's birthday party. It's time for you to skidoo.
- Josh: You're right, Timely. It's almost time. Thanks for teaching me the song. Blue's gonna love it. You're coming to the party right?
- Kids: Yeah.
- Josh: Great. Bye Timely.
- Timely: Bye Josh. Have a great time.
- (Josh Skidoos back to the tv, just as the show is on)
- Kids: It's starting!
- Timely: It's time for blue's birthday.
- (Blue's Clues and you Intro plays)
Closing[]
- (After everyone blows out the candles off Blue's birthday cake and everyone cheers.)
- Josh: Alright, Yay for the birthday girl! (blows noisemaker and Blue leaves)
- Joe: Blue, What did you wish for? Blue?
- Josh: Have you seen the birthday girl?
- (blue's head appears on the right)
- Audience: She went that way.
- Josh: Oh that way. Maybe she's getting more cupcakes. I'll go see. (scenes cuts to the living room and Josh takes off his party hat.) Blue? She's not in the kicthen, where is she?
- Audience: She's right there.
- Josh: The thinking chair. Nah. I don't think so. She couldn't be here. Oh does she want to play a game of birthday hide and seek. (Josh gets to the birthday hat) Aha! (birthday hat flies to the floor) I found the birthday hat. Ha. That's funny.
- (Blue pushes a big red present)
- Audience: Josh look.
- Josh: Oh, Blue has forgotten to open one of her presents. It says to Josh. No, that can't be right. It is blue's present but it says J-O-S-H Josh that's me. So what should I do with it?
- Audience: Open it.
- Josh: Open it? No, I don't think so. It's not my birthday. It's Blues.
- Audience: Present time, Present time, Open the present and see what's inside.
- Josh:Okay Okay. I'll do it because I love opening presents especially this one because this is a biiiiiig box and it's got wrapping paper. (opens the red present) Oh, Look what it is. It's another present. Do you think I can open this one too?
- Auidence: Yes. Present time, Present time, Open the present and see what's inside.
- Josh: You know, I love opening presents and i wonder what could in it. (openings the purple present) Guess what it is?
- Auidence: A toaster.
- Josh: A toaster. Nah, It couldn't be. It's a another present.
- Audience: Present time, Present Time, Open the present and see what's inside.
- Josh: I wonder what could it be. Maybe is a new blue striped shirt. I hope it is (Opens yellow present) This is one of my favorite things. Another present. Green with stripes.
- Audience: Present time, Present Time, Open the present and see what's inside.
- Josh: You know what they say Biggest presents come in the smallest packages and It's all tied with string. (opens the green present) It's a cookie in shape of a heart that says Thank You. Who couldn't bring it to me?
- Audience: Blue.
- Josh: Oh, Do you think Blue made this for me to thank me for her birthday party?
- Auidience: Yeah
- (Blue appears and licks Josh)
- Josh: You're welcome Blue. I thank you too. And I want to thank you for making Blue's Birthday so special. Now come on. Let's go back to the party for cake and ice cream!
- (fades back to the party for the goodbye song)
